What’s Involved

The study will last for up to 24 months, during that time your study doctor will collect information about your response to the study treatment and overall medical history. You will also be asked to complete a few short questionnaires at some of the study visits.

During treatment, the doctor or nurse may take a little bit of blood and during clinic visits they will collect sputum (mucous coughed up from the lungs), ask how you / your child feel, and get you / your child to blow into a machine to check your lungs. You / your child will be asked to come into hospital every 3 months as a minimum, where possible these visits will occur at the same time as routine clinic visits.
